STEC AXIS SP
The STEC AXIS SP is a compact, lightweight Robotic Total Station designed for one-person surveying, construction layout, stakeout, as-built verification, and precision engineering work. Its key advantage is the combination of fast motorization, automatic prism recognition/search/tracking, and long-range remote control

The AXIS SP is particularly positioned around speed, robotic automation, portability and one-person operation, rather than simply being a conventional total station with motors
High-Speed 180°/s Motor for Fast and Precise Positioning
The Torque Drive 2.0 features a maximum motor rotation speed of 180° per second, enabling fast, precise, and stable positioning. Its high-speed motor supports rapid prism searching and target acquisition while improving tracking performance during robotic surveying. This makes it ideal for repetitive and high-frequency survey measurements, helping reduce positioning time and increase overall field productivity.
PRISM LOCK KEEP YOUR TARGET IN SIGHT.
With STEC AXIS SP’s xTrak technology, the instrument automatically recognizes, locks onto, and tracks the prism even when it is temporarily obstructed. Up to 20°/s tracking speed for faster, uninterrupted robotic surveying.
ONE PERSON SURVEYING
With robotic prism tracking and up to 600 m long-range Bluetooth, the surveyor can operate remotely without requiring a second person at the instrument.
TOUCH SCREEN + FULL KEYPAD
It has a 5-inch touchscreen plus physical backlit keys, useful when working outdoors or wearing glove
